Reported Crop Circles for the State
of Illinois -
Xenia, Clay County (October 9, 1990)
An 80' diameter flattened circle of bent, but not broken soybeans was discovered by a hired hand while harvesting. A 40' diameter ring inside the circle was nothing but burnt stubble. Inside the ring was a 14' patch of undisturbed foxtail. The circle was 1/2 mile from the nearest road, and no tracks were found anywhere nearby.
